Sandra Servière joined La Ciotat Shipyards this week as head of operations. She will especially be in charge of developing the third strategic axis of LCS #friendler. She will manage work to further improve ecological footprint on the yards on one side, and the reception conditions on the other side. Sandra may also contribuate to the Atlas project besides Alexandre Rolland.
What is your background ?
« After my studies in geology and environment, I have been mainly working in the public sector within territorial communities including the Town of Carnoux en Provence as a director of technical services and Aix-Marseille metropole for managing infrastructure and networks projects. I drove the major project of “Boulevard urbain sud (BUS)” at Marseille, connecting the Florian exchanger to Sainte Marguerite, a project of 100 million euros which is to be officially opened in a few weeks. »
Why did you join LCS ?
« I wishes to come back in a company with a human dimension and environmental values. In addition, the port sector is a new action aera for me and a new challenge that is quite exciting. I had the opportunity to work on the requalification of La Ciotat old port which led me to discover LCS. »
What will be your main tasks ?
« I was engaged to manage all projects aim at increasing the environment of the site in all its aspects. This position covers a very wide range of missions and topics involving diagnosis of the existing installations, depollution, energy consumption and also developing a work environment for staff and crews (currently 500 people). It’s a cross cutting role !
