Following the announcement of the order by the Maritime Prefect of the Mediterranean authorising the resumption of certain leisure activities, La Ciotat Shipyards wishes to inform its customers of the rules that it has put in place to prevent accidental transmission of the virus during interactions between yacht crew and other visitors, and La Ciotat Shipyards personnel.
The Old Port:
The Harbour Master’s office will be open to the public once again starting Tuesday 12 May at 0900 hrs. Inside the building the wearing of a category 1 or 2* «general public» protective mask will be compulsory.
Hydroalcoholic gel will also be made available for visitors to the Harbour Master’s office and its use encouraged.
Yacht owners, crew and other authorised visitors holding an AOT «afloat» for the Old Port can freely access their vessels berthed in the harbour.
Vessels ashore:
Owners and their representatives wishing to launch their yachts must give at least 24 hours’ notice to reserve a launching slot by calling 06.77.04.92.63. Please note that La Ciotat Shipyards reserves the right to postpone launching manoeuvres in the event that the site is deemed overcrowded, thereby presenting a risk of cross-infection to those present.
Access to the industrial site is subject to the wearing of a «general public» protective mask of categories 1 or 2*. Persons not wearing masks will not be allowed to enter the site, as this may result in launching manoeuvres being postponed or cancelled.
* As defined in the ministerial information note of March 29, 2020
