La Ciotat Shipyards provide ships and its partners with a set of services to accommodate yachts and mega-yachts under ideal conditions.
Network Services
Electricity
Supplying of electrical connections for afloat and ashore docking spaces (yacht and shipyard):
- 220V, 380V, 50Hz,
- up to 1250 amps / terminal
Drinking water, sea water, waste water
- Supplying of connections to drinking water for berths and hard standing areas.
- Wastewater and sea water connections for dry docked large yachts.
- On all platforms, collection of rain water and process water.
Very high speed Internet
Supplying of high speed broadband Internet connections (fibre optic) for yachts afloat and yacht ashore in public areas as of September 2018.
Environment Services
On all platforms
Process water and rainwater are treated by separators before discharge into the sea.
Maintenance and controls
These treatment facilities are subject to regular maintenance and controlled by state services responsible for the protection of marine environments.
Security Services
24 hours/7 days Controlled access
The site is being controlled 24 hours/7 days . Only individuals with an access badge can enter the site. A video surveillance system is in place for the most sensitive points and will be improved with the deployment of optical fiber.
Cooperation with state authorities
In 2017, La Ciotat Shipyards started a dialogue with State and Department authorities to obtain additional means of control in order to improve the safety and security of its facilities, with special focus on defining areas subject to the ISPS certification.
