La Ciotat Shipyards (LCS) officially opened their yachting village on Friday 29 January 2021 at the end of the first board meeting of this new year, with the delivery of building A.
There was no official ceremony in view of the current health situation, but the elected representatives, Mr Patrick Ghigonetto, LCS President, Mrs Nathalie Simon and Mr Bernard Deflesselles, LCS directors, symbolically cut the red ribbon in the presence of the first companies to take part.
Nine companies from the yachting sector received the keys to their brand new premises this week and will move into the yards after some fitting out work. Yachtelec, ROGI, Heinen & Hopman, Ebacos, LB Tender Mechanics, Naiad, TSM3D, ATEM and YAS Protect do not hide their joy and eagerness to get to the site and settle down in the immediate vicinity of their customers.
Céline Guigou, in charge of operations at La Ciotat Shipyards, is delighted with this first stage: “We are delighted with the work of the companies who, despite the conditions with the health crisis, have shown great commitment and have enabled this phase to be delivered on time. And we are very happy to see the satisfaction and enthusiasm of the occupying companies. »
For the second phase of the project (Buildings B and C), paving work has begun and roofing and cladding work is continuing as planned. LCS are therefore giving us an appointment next May to celebrate, if the sanitary context allows it, the complete delivery of their village.
