La Ciotat Shipyards hosted yesterday the big nautical committe. Chaired by Benoît Rouvière, it was composed of representatives of the port (professional fishermen, pleasure boating, passenger boat, etc.). They were asked to give their opinion for the construction work of the future 4300t shiplift.
As for any construction project including modifications of the port or access channels, the big nautical committe can be consulted. So after studying the impact of the construction work and the safety measures La Ciotat Shipyards recommend, they unanimously approved the project today !
